At today’s Faith Council meeting (Agenda), Gaspar Mata and two students, Mariah and Devon, presented on the Year Up program that provides young adults with six months of classroom training followed by six months of internship with one of 250+ partner corporations. Following Year Up, 90% of graduates are employed and/or enrolled in post-secondary education. We were so impressed by Mariah and Devon, who are clearly on their way to successful careers, respectively, in finance and cybersecurity. Find out more about this extraordinary program at www.yearup.org.
